We want to offer a demanding university preparatory experience where students are encouraged to think critically and solve complex problems, drive their learning, are more culturally aware through the development of a second language and are able to engage with people in an increasingly globalised, rapidly changing world.

The IB diploma offers a passport to higher education. Universities worldwide welcome the unique characteristics of which Diploma Programme students have and recognize how the thorough preparations students have undergone for university education.

For our students this means that they can easily apply to international universities.

Benefits for the school

For the IB, it is crucial to maintain quality assurance frameworks:

1. As mentioned before, only IB-authorised schools may offer the IB-programmes. Every school has to go through a candidate period and the authorisation process.
2. Teachers are given high-quality professional development (only IB-trained teachers can teach within the DP), "innovative and diverse education frameworks, unit planners, teaching resources and evaluation tools."
3. Teachers send all the student's work to the IB for central marking and get feedback later. Teachers learn and develop through these responses. With this, standardisation of assessment is assured.
