What is the Diploma Programme (DP)?

The Diploma Programme (DP) is a rigorous pre-university course of study designed for students between the ages of 16 to 19. It is a broad-based two-year course that aims to encourage students to be knowledgeable, inquiring, caring, and compassionate. There is a strong emphasis on encouraging students to develop intercultural understanding, open-mindedness, and the attitudes necessary to respect and evaluate a range of points of view. [1]

There are 40 IB schools in Sweden (2023) of which 28 offer the IB DP.

Academic integrity is a guiding principle in education and a choice to act in a responsible way whereby others can have trust in us as individuals. It is the foundation for ethical decision-making and behaviour in the production of legitimate, authentic and honest scholarly work.
