The Basic Hypothesis

The basic hypothesis of the granted project Digital Hansa was formulated in Karlskrona during workshops with main stakeholders in the Blekinge region already in 2015 addressing the challenge Sweden was facing with large amounts of refugees. The outcome was a number of successful initiatives, coordinated across unit boundaries, finding concrete solutions to put in action.

The Basic Hypothesis: "The growth in the region is not as strong as it's potential"

Digital Hansa Hypothesis

Digital Hansa use the same basic hypothesis but with a wider definition of the region, the south Baltic sea region.

The ambition with Digital Hansa is to explore the hypothesis applied in a larger geographical context and with cross border stakeholders.

Digital Hansa Hypothesis: "The actors working with digitalization in the three cities are not utilizing their geographical position at the Baltic Sea in order to add value"
