Parking in Karlskrona
Restrictions for stopping and parking in Karlskrona.
Type of vehicles
You may only park the vehicle illustrated on the additional panel. Other vehicles may only stop to drop off or pick up passengers.
Other types of vehicles found on additional panels: Bus, heavy lorry (over 3.5 tonnes), two-wheeled motorcycle and class I moped, bicycle and class II moped and car with trailer (including caravan).
Road junction
You must not stop or park at a road junction or closer than ten metres before the nearest edge of the intersection.
Against the traffic flow
You may only stop or park on the right-hand side of the road in the direction of the traffic flow.
Pedestrian crossing
You must not stop or park on a pedestrian crossing or closer than ten metres before a pedestrian crossing.
Built-up areas
In built-up areas, you must not stop or park in public places off the road, for example in ditches, on road verges, in parks, in green areas or similar.
How to pay for parking
In Karlskrona you can choose between three different apps to pay for your parking: Easy Park, Parkster and ePARK. You can also choose to pay by SMS or directly in the parking machines with coins or cards.
